“Courage doesn’t happen when you have all the answers. It happens when you are ready to face the questions you have been avoiding your whole life.”

Intake Process
Treatment
We begin with a comprehensive diagnostic assessment to evaluate all current isses and possible contributing factors. This typcially takes 45 mintues to one hour and usually involves background information, family history, current symptom evaluation and possibly testing. At intake a working diagoses is established and we will also evalute for possible alternative diagnoses going forward.
Counseling sessions can be individual, family, couple, group or a combination. Issues are explored and addressed with appropriate therapy techniques. We use a combination of Cognitive and Behavioral techniques from a Christian Perspective of counseling.
We are now happy to offer telemedicine sessions remotely (currently only for self pay clients and most Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans).
Referrals
At times it may be beneficial to refer out for auxiliary services
such as; psychiatry, speech
therapy, occupational therapy,
school services, etc. Working
with the treatment team allows
for improved results and
outcomes.
In our Dothan office we share offices with several pediatric sub specialties; Neurology, GI, Endocrinology, Pulmonology and Adolescent Focused Medicine which allows us to coordinate with other providers if symptoms overlap.
